Premium Guardianship Documents Package (Couple)
Legal DIY is a package of “a la carte” legal help that we have developed to serve our communities and bring greater access to certain estate planning services. This package includes:
- A toolkit of downloadable guardianship documents (Appointment of Guardian and Parents Delegation of Powers) for your use
- An Instructional Guide, and
- A 15-minute review meeting with member of the firm
- A Signing Meeting at our office with a notary and witnesses provided
How does this work?
- Purchase documents: Add your preferred package to the cart and check out; you will be asked to read and acknowledge our Terms of Use before checking out
- Access your digital downloads: Once payment is submitted, you will be able to download the digital zip file.
- Complete the documents: In the file, we have included an instruction guide. Please read the guide CAREFULLY concerning the documents and their use and complete the documents as instructed
- Access your Client Portal: You will receive an invitation to create an account in our secure client portal. As part of this package, you will have lifetime access to this portal system.
- Schedule your Review meeting: In the client portal, you will be able to schedule a Review meeting with one of our attorneys. Please note: this meeting is only available virtually and is scheduled for 15 minutes.
- Upload your documents: Upon scheduling your Review meeting, you will be prompted to upload the documents into the portal system for our attorneys to review prior to the meeting.
- Have your documents notarized/witnessed where advised: IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT EACH DOCUMENT BE WITNESSED AND/OR NOTARIZED FOR MAXIMUM EFFECTIVENESS. Please read the Instructions for more information.
- Optional: Upload the final executed documents into the client portal for an additional storage option.
