Estate planning shouldn't be a “transaction”.  At Scarola Law, we strive to build long lasting relationships with our clients. We want to learn about your family, your goals, and your wishes so we can make a custom plan for you and your loved ones.

At Scarola Law, we believe planning is essential for people of all ages, regardless of wealth, family status, or current health. It gives you the opportunity to make decisions about many of the most important issues in your life and the people you love--from naming a guardian for your child to appointing someone to carry out your wishes with respect to your health and finances. We use a holistic approach to estate planning and take the time to truly listen and find out what’s important to you, then tailor your estate plan specifically to your circumstances and goals. We will help you plan for the unexpected so your wishes are known and your loved ones are protected through an estate plan.

Meet the Team

Firm administrator

In 2016, I  founded Scarola Law driven by the goal of ensuring everyone can have access to quality estate planning services. As a mother, wife, and sister, I know how important it is to ensure your family is taken care of in all aspects of life, including the legal ones. That’s why I have dedicated my career to educating and assisting families with estate planning. My experience as a former caregiver to my late mother has given me insight into the importance of being prepared for life’s unpredictable events. Estate planning allows me to draw upon my prior legal experience and my long-time commitment to helping and educating others.

We moved to Castle Rock in 2013 and immediately fell in love with all Colorado has to offer. I embraced my new community and sought out opportunities to become involved. I previously served as a volunteer attorney for Castle Rock Teen Court, a community-based, juvenile intervention/prevention program that offers an alternative to the juvenile justice system. I am a member of multiple bar associations including the Colorado Bar Association (CBA), the Douglas County Bar Association, as well as the Solo and Small Firm, and Trust & Estates sections of the CBA. In addition, I have served on the board of Denver Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association (“Denver MAMA”), an organization devoted to furthering the interests of mother attorneys in the Denver Metro area as well as am an active member of Colorado Women Owned Law Firms (“W.O.L.F.”)

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my husband, daughter, and son, and taking advantage of all that beautiful Colorado has to offer!

I’m a New Jersey native who now resides in Georgia with my husband, two kids, and our ShorkiePoo. In my spare time I enjoy baking, reading, and spending time with family.

Before venturing into estate planning in 2022, I worked in real estate and other areas of law. While the specifics may differ, the skills I’ve acquired, such as document preparation, client communication, and professional discretion, are transferable.

With over a decade of administrative experience, I believe the most important aspects are honor, integrity, and relationships built on trust. I recognize and value the trust our clients place in us.

I have a genuine passion for helping people. I'm committed to assist in ensuring that your wishes are honored and securing your legacy to provide peace of mind for you and your loved ones!

I am currently in my final semester of law school at the University of Denver and looking forward to graduating this May! I first worked at Scarola Law in the summer of 2022 and fell in love with the practice and the clients. I have always enjoyed helping people and estate planning has turned out to be a perfect avenue for me to do so.

I am very close with my family and love spending time with them when I can. I am a triplet with another younger sibling as well, so I understand how important it can be to plan for the future of your family and be ready to take on unexpected surprises.

In my free time, I love to hike, play Ultimate Frisbee, and try new restaurants with my boyfriend Kevin.

Estate Planning Packages for All Life Stages

Estate plans are composed of key legal documents that benefit every individual or family that has one in place. These plans lay out a mindful course of action to care for and support your loved ones, give your family the information and tools they need to honor your choices regarding your own health and comfort, and put your assets to their best use.  We offer the tailored guidance you need to make the most effective plan for you and your family.

“I was happy to have found Scarola Law (Colleen). She was so easy to work with and understood my needs with modifying my trust, will and all other documents. Everything was done in a timely manner. I will definitely use her services again if/when the need arises.”
