At Scarola Law, we proudly partner with MetLife Legal Insurance Plans to provide estate plans at little to no cost for our clients. Here is a little bit about our process:
Our estate planning process generally consists of three meetings: the Questionnaire Review Meeting conducted by Emily, a Client Check-In Meeting conducted by Colleen; and the Signing Meeting at our office.
Questionnaire Review Meeting
We will review your submitted questionnaire, go over the different estate planning packages we offer, and answer any questions regarding pricing, the function of various documents, and the next steps in our process. After you have chosen which documents you would like to have prepared, we will send out an engagement letter and an invoice, if applicable. Once those items have been completed, we will proceed with drafting your documents! Drafting can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks depending on the time of year.
Client Check-In Meeting
When drafts are ready for review, we send them via our secured legal software, CLIO, and reach out to schedule a Check-In meeting. From there, we meet to discuss any questions, review the documents, and make any necessary changes.
Once the documents are finalized, we meet in person at our office to sign. That's it! The whole process can be completed in around 5-6 weeks depending on availability (both client and attorney). We aim to complete the process in 2 months time.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our site! If you would like to move forward with Scarola Law, please complete the intake form below and someone from our office will be in contact shortly! Please note that submission of an inquiry does not result in the formation of an attorney-client relationship.
